Ketchup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups canned or fresh tomatoes
  • 4 ounces tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/8 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cloves minced garlic(or to taste) -- you can omit this or add a different spice, if desired
  • sea salt to taste

Directions

  1. In food processor combine all ingredients.
  2. Process until smooth and well blended.
  3. Place blended mixture into medium saucepan.
  4. Simmer uncovered, stirring constantly, until desired mixture is achieved.
