Golden Fried Potatoes

Ingredients
- potatoes
- oil
- salt
- garlic powder
Directions
- Peel and cube some potatoes.
- Place the cubed potatoes in a non-aluminum pan, cover with an inch of water.
- Bring to a boil and then turn off the burner and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes, until they are nearly cooked through.
- Drain and cool (otherwise they will crumble during the next step).
- Place potato cubes in a frying pan with a little olive oil (or oil of choice) and fry on low heat until crispy.
- Since they are already cooked, this step shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes.
- Sprinkle some garlic powder onto the cubes and continue lightly frying them until they are golden brown.
- Salt to taste and serve.
Yum! If you sprinkle a little pure garlic powder onto fried potatoes, then finish toasting them, they will look golden without having been fried to death in too-hot oil.
